This castle originating from 1863 is in ready to use condition, in a calm setting with its wooded and walled garden, but still part of a vibrant and famous wine village in the cote chalonaise.

Today mainly used for banquets and weddings, sleeping 50 guests and catering for more than 150 people seated.

The entrance is through a grand marble floor hallway, dominated by its lazy marble staircase (comblachien stone). The first floor, is actually called the "belle etage", with two large reception rooms with parquet floors and wood paneling all round. These two can seat respectively 90 and 70 people. The smaller and more intimate blue room, seats 25 people or can double as a bar on this floor. The library on the far end seats 35 people. All these rooms have access via french doors to the wide terrace and vieuws of the village and gardens of the castle. Actually the two far end rooms are the rooms where in the old days, the ladies in one and the gentlemen in the other, retreated after having had dinner in the magnificent middle rooms.

The second floor has been redone in 2011 to receive 6 en suite bedrooms, 2 with bath, 4 with shower.

The third floor has been redone in 2010, into 9 en suite double bedrooms with shower and toilet.

All bedrooms have magnetic key access, wired internet and fire alarm. Building is heated by four new mains gas boilers. Electric water boilers on each floor provide plenty of hot water

The fourth floor is still in its original condition, giving room to meeting rooms or two large family rooms. All utility cables are already installed.

The roof and structure are in good condition. Fire alarms have been placed in all floors.

Lift serves from basement to 4th floor.

Cellars house beautiful wines and wine making equipment now rented out to farmer. Castle has its own appelation : "chateau saint michel". The cellars have in total 24 "rooms" and offer a surface of 800m2. they are renowned for their high ceilings.

Church is small, but magnificently maintained. It is classified heritage.
