The nearby village of Chateauneuf la Foret has all amenities such as a large supermarket, bank office, pharmacy and several restaurants. It has a lovely swimming lake where locals and holidaymakers swim in summer. But the village of Eymoutiers, which is just as far away, also has a large supermarket and several restaurants. The touristy Lac de Vassivière, for water sports or cultural entertainment, can be reached in half an hour. The city center of Limoges is to be reached in 50 minutes drive. Its airport in 60 minutes drive.
